The church historical dates.
Here are some remarkable date in the church history.
C. 30 - 100CE: This period is known as the apostolic age, during which the early church was headed up by the apostles of JESUS, who began missionary work to to convert Jews to christianity in various regions of the Mediterranean and mideast.
34 CE. St. Stephen was martyrd. He was stoned to death according to the law at that time. An event witnessed by Saul.
47 - 57C. St Paul started his missionary journey. St Paul during his missionary journey, travelled to many places including Tarsus, Derbe, Lystra, and some other cities of Galatia.
C. 60CE: Apostle Paul returns to Rome after suffering persecution for attempting to convert Jews to christianity. He is said to have worked with peter.
C. 68CE: Paul dies, probably executed by beheading upon order of emperor Nero. Apostle Peter is also crusified around this time.
C. 190: Date of Easter determined.
100CE-325CE: This period is known as the Ante-Nicene period. This period marked the increasingly various separation of the newly born Christian Church from the Jewish culture, and the gradual spread of christianity into Western Europe.

386: Augustine converted to christianity. Augustine adapted classical thought to the church teachings and created a powerful theological system of long lasting influence . He is also known as the doctor of the church. (Saint Augustine of hippo)440: Leo the great consecrated bishop of Rome (pope).
551 CE: At the council of chalcedon, the head of the church in constantinople was declared to the head of the Eastern branch of the church, equal in authority to the pope. This effectively was the start of the division of the church into Eastern orthodox and Roman Roman Catholic branch.
590 CE: Pope Gregory I, invites his papacy, during which the cathCath Church engages in widespread effort to convert pegan people to Catholicism.
This begins a time of enormous political and military power controlled by Catholic popes.
This date is marked by some as the beginning of the Catholic Church.
625: Mohammed begins the Quoran.
Muslims believe that the Quoran was orally revealed by GOD to the final prophet Muhammed, through the archangel Gabriel (Jibril) incrementally over a period of some 23 years, beginning in the month of Ramadan, when Muhammed was 40; and concluded in 632, the year he probably died. ( Prophet Muhammed).
632CE: Islamic prophet Mohammed dies. In the following years, the rise of islam and broad conquest of much of Europe leads to brutal persecution of all Catholic heads except for those in Rome and Constantinople. A period of great conflict and long-lasting conflict between the Christians and the Islamic faith begins during these years.
1054CE: The great East - West schism marks the formal separation of the Roman Catholic and the Eastern Orthodox branch of the Catholic Church.
1517CE: "Martin Luther" Published the 95 theses, A documents wrtten by Martin Luther that Challenged the Catholic Church on penance, the popes authority and indulgence. This caused a serious theological debate that fueled the Reformation. (Martin Luther )
