Air transportation is better than road transportion.(proposing and opposing views).
PROPOSING.
Good day Mr.moderator, panel of judges, accurate time keeper, co-debaters,and my audience.
My name is ..........
I am a student of ..........
I am here to propose(support) the motion which says that Air transportation is better than road transportation. But before I continue, I will like to define the topic for a better understanding.
-TRANSPORTATION: this is the movement of people, goods and services from one place to another through a medium.
-Air transportation: this is the movement of people, goods and services from one place to another by air through the use of air crafts.
-Road transportation:this is the movement of people, goods and services from one place to another by road, through the use of Vehicles, train, etc.
Here are some reasons why I stand to say that air means of transportation is better than land means of transportation.
>>>Firstly, to start with.Quik service: air transportation provides comfortable, efficient and transportation services.once an airplane takes off it doesn't get down untill it reaches its destination. Unlike road transport where vehicle hold-ups easily occur , which consumes a lot of time, energy and resources. Air transportion is the best mode of transportation used for the transportation of perishable goods like fruit, etc. It is by far the fastest mode of transportation it requires less time to get to it's destination.
>>>Secondly, Comfortability : Air transportation is the most comfortable mode of transportation, in airplane, one can easily visit a rest room if feel pressed but on roads one cannot do so or untill the vehicle gets to a safe place. This also have led to the death of lots of people who might go into a bush to defecate and probably being consumed by wild animals or some other dangerous things.
>>>Thirdly, Accident: it is true that plane crash might lead to the death of all persengers on board, but note that plane crash occurs once in a long period of time,unlike car accident which occurs on a daily basis and lead to the death of many on a dialy basis.
According to reaserch, it is seen that over 3,700 people dies on road accident on a yearly basis. While plane might crash once or twice a year.
>>>Fourthly, Safety: Air transportation the safest means of transportation.once an airplane takes off, it can never be attacked by any individual like amrobbers etc. air transport moves freely until it gets to it destination. While on road Vehicles travelling by road can easily be attacked by amrobbers and other bodies. this happens mostly at night when the'ar few cars on the road, this have also led to the death of many and lost of properties.
>In conclusion, air crafts are used for fighting wars between two or more country this is because aircraft moves with high speed on air.

Air transportation is better than road transportion but before I continue, let me give the meaning of the topic for a better understanding.

-Road transportation: this is the movement of goods,services and people from one place to another by road through the use of vehicles,etc.
-Air transportation: this is the mobility of people, goods and services from one place to another through the use of air crafts.
